Why BizLinga exists

Zaharia "Harry" Stahl started working on BizLinga at 16 after listening to business calls and realizing how many words sounded like a different language. Terms that were routine to experienced professionals were unfamiliar to someone preparing for a first internship or job.

That experience exposed a practical gap: students can study a subject without learning the language people use to discuss the work. BizLinga was created to make that language understandable before the first interview, meeting, assignment, or deadline.

What BizLinga does

The BizLinga app organizes real workplace language by business function and industry. Learners build confidence through structured units, flashcards, interactive questions, and visible progress tracking.

Learners can start with the area that matches their goals, study terms in context, check their understanding, and return to the material as they build confidence. The focus is recognition and practical use, not memorizing complicated definitions.
